I think that everyone has heard about lamellar oil, but not everyone knows what it is and how it works. I will try to explain everything in a simple language.

Lamellar oil is an emulsion, that is, a mixture of oil and water. Previously, there were only two types of emulsions - direct (when oil droplets float in water - light creams) and reverse (when water droplets float in oil - fat creams). Such emulsions are also called micellar emulsions. But recently, a new type of emulsion has appeared - lamellar ... If ordinary emulsions simply create a film of water and oil on the skin, then lamellar emulsions, as it are structurally similar to our skin fat, are “embedded” in the lipid layer. This contributes to a more intensive hydration and nutrition of the skin, healing of the epidermis, as well as the active components in such emulsions are much better absorbed.
Simply put, lamellar oil works as a patch and improves the condition of the skin, not only in general, but also most actively in those places where it is necessary. That is, it is such a "smart" emulsion.

Yes, lamellar emulsifiers are much more expensive than conventional ones, but they are completely natural. And yes - it is more difficult to homogenize a lamellar emulsion, it is a laborious process. But the result is noticeable immediately, the effectiveness of oil and cream increases significantly.
Speaking of my cosmetics, I mainly make lamellar oils and creams for face and body, based on coconut or olive oil with the addition of essential oils, decoctions of herbs and flowers, macerates, and much more, depending on the formulation and the desired cosmetic effect .

Ingredients: Organic Oils: Coconut, Grape Seed, Shea (Shea Butter), Wheat Germ, Jojoba, Black Cumin Oil; organic emulsifier *, essential oils (according to skin type), macerates of herbs and flowers in coconut or olive oil, organic inclusions (depending on destination): legume vanilla, star anise, ground coffee, Cambrian clay, etc.
